Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was quite an experience! The charming setting provides a peaceful getaway, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. The themed rooms offered a unique touch that I absolutely enjoyed, while the food was delicious and warming. However, I did notice some issues with sleep quality due to the aging beds and noisy floorboards, so it's not perfect. Overall, it's a lovely place for anyone seeking tranquility and character in their accommodations.
My weekend at Sherlock was a delightful escape! The Victorian charm of the place and the pristine gardens made it feel magical. While the approach road was a bit challenging, the warmth of the staff, especially Sanjay, made up for any inconveniences. The dining was a highlight with mouthwatering options, though I wish there were more fruit choices in the breakfast spread. All in all, it was a wonderful stay with only minor points for improvement.
My stay at this lovely hotel was quite memorable. The panoramic views from the peak are absolutely breathtaking, and the beautiful garden made for a relaxing experience. The staff, including Bala and his team, were courteous and attentive, which added a personal touch to our visit. However, the accessibility of the hotel was a challenge, particularly the last stretch of road, and the parking situation could be improved. Overall, it’s a great place for nature lovers but with a few areas needing attention.
Sherlock is a wonderful heritage hotel with stunning views and a charming ambiance. The staff is exceptionally courteous and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. However, the location poses a bit of a challenge with a rough uphill road, and the dining options, while decent, lack variety, especially for lunch and dinner. Overall, it's a lovely spot, though the lack of internet in rooms was inconvenient.
Our stay at the hotel was lovely, with breathtaking views and a cozy atmosphere. The attentive staff made us feel welcome, although the location is a bit distant from the city center, making transportation necessary. The food was mostly excellent, but we faced some connectivity issues with Wi-Fi during our visit. Overall, it was great value for money considering the scenic beauty and comfort.
